Sometimes, life’s unlikely situations make our eyesight dull and narrow. Yet, life is so beautiful that I myself, doesn’t want it end.
Crossing along the Marikina, Pasig and Manila on motorbike, I had a chance to see the long lines of squatter houses and the-rich houses. I saw the big difference.. and I made again a decision for my life.
One day, I visited the National Bookstore in SM Batangas to look for books authored by Robert Kiyosaki. I happened to read two of his books and I am so eager to read his other books. I just finished the 3rd book of Kiyosaki handed to me by my mother. After reading it, I made a vow to myself that I will find ways to afford a life above my life today. His books are rather expensive but it’s worth reading. I learned to find opportunities I failed to see before in my work. I learned to change my mind. I also learned to look at my people in the workplace and deal with them in the regular basis. I also learned to deal with my fears and failures, used them to my advantage in the workplace as well as in my call.
In the bookstore, I also found books of Josiah Go. I read other financial success books of other Filipino authors, but Mr. Go’s concepts are more realistic and easy to comprehend. And his books are affordable, really affordable! His marketting book even have a money-back guarrantee! San ka hahanap? Reading its preface: the proceeds of the booksale will go to his foundation, and he’s a christian! A clap for him for his charity act!
Going back on what I saw in the places we’ve been to, made me realized the more that life is a choice. We can choose to be poor, we can choose to be rich. We can choose to be happy. We can choose to be miserable. Everything is on our power of action. Prayer is part of that action, so is faith. But most of us, always choose the safest and avoid the risks.
so much for this.
