Relationships keep a person’s life meaningful. It’s so sad that there are those who play with relationships as if applying for a job position: " to have an experience."
There are those who are serious with their relationships but simply found out that they were matched with the wrong person.I think that’s an experience!
Whatever it is, relationships should be cherished. And people should be frank enough and openminded to say what they want and what they don’t want. Women in particular got problem with this, specially those who grew up with snow white, cinderella and dyesebel!
Got a changed clothes at 12am na! I remembered that apples sooth aching throat and tired voice boxes! But I like this melodramatic voice of mine- a slight change from my casual voice. It sounds good in the "trompa"!
But there are two things that keep me awake at night, three I guess. I said "keep" because it’s been a week now!
One, my aching legs. I was so thankful someone visited me at 9pm last night just to give me legs massage that was handed from generation to generation.Hmm, generational massage! Very nice!
Two, are the "bungangeras" puppies of my father who I think got no difference from the 3 million complaining Israelites during Moses’ day! If only my dad wouldn’t mind… but he loves these " ero-ero". I remembered when one of them, I named "Ai-Ai", accidentally fell down to the balon at 11 o’clock at night, he went down the 20 feet more "balon" full of rain water, not minding his slip disks just to save Ai-Ai.
And last, the feeling of being alone at night in a big house, where all you can hear are the "kuligligs."
It was my turn to speak before the people and I can’t stop myself saying that it is my almost three years in this work with the people and I enjoyed it a lot though each day makes my legs ache. I enjoy this kinda far-away-from my comfort zone life. Each day is a thrill to me though things here are so simple. It here I learned the real meaning of living in faith. I once dreamt of having the kind Abraham had, and I learned it here. Real learning!
No matter how busy and tiring the day may be for whatever reason one can have… we cannot escape the fact that there are things that money, fame, relationships and accomplishments cannot bring us… to make our happiness complete. There are three things that can make our happiness complete, four I think:
God with His Presence in our life… relationships… accomplishments…money, this proper order.
Changed clothes again at 7am.
