It’s not that easy to go from here to there…from bulacan to manila to batangas and back, and back and back again! Ang sakit ng legs ko!But it’s fun! "Sa likod ng driver" is my favorite spot. "Buti di nakuba and driver sa pagsakay mo? Ang bigat mo kaya!", says someone to me. "Patawa ha?"!
Nevertheless I learned some important lessons as I go from here to there and back again. Lessons I wish I won’t forget… as I age.
1. Sometimes you must risk everything to become the "very thing" you are supposed to be.
2. Never underestimate the potential of one encounter. It might change your life!
3. Influence flows from intimacy, and access comes from relationship. Nothing can be impossible.
4. Favor is what happens when preparation meets oppurtunity. Nothing could be harder!
5. Do not be "masungit" or feeling elite when travelling. It’s wise to be approachable and cool so when you have trouble with your things, people will volunteer to help you.
6. Don’t brag your celphone by your nakakarindi o out-of-this-planet ringtone, the robbers will easily find you out! Ha ha ha ha!
7. Be nice to the bus vendors. don’t be snobbish as if di you kumakain ng panutsa, makapuno at sa mani ever! They are always ready to give a hand. Isa pa, hirap yata ng hanapbuhay nila… appreciate naman.
8. Nakakacancer pala ang celophane sa hair. Celophane the hair treatment.
9. Batangas delicacies are excellent for diabetic people! May diabetes yata mga batangeno?
10. The fare from Batangas to Manila is more expensive than the fare from Manila to Batangas. Humahaba siguro ang kalsada?
11. L’oreal revitalift spf 18 costs only P700! contrary to my mom’s belief. Bili na.
