The Mystery of Your Calling

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

All men are created by God with purposes in life. Sometimes we are too confused to know the threadline between purpose and ambition. Other people have both. And it’s all glorifying to know that a person can use both in life as complimentary forces that drives one to reach the excellent.

Callings are God-implanted design in a person: what he will and shall become. It’s easy to find out what it is but it’s difficult sometimes to make it alive in life! What makes it difficult to be alive? The temptation to look at other more desireable fields, and the desire to conquer them! Thinking that, that’s the right place, while it’s just a diversion to the real field or door.

To pursue or not to pursue one’s calling is a big question at hand! To pursue it will be a big leap of faith that will bring excellence. Not to pursue it will lead to a long winding road of second hand successes and uncontentment, feeling that there is still an empty space to fill while there’s nothing more left to stand in.

What is profitable for a man to do, to obtain excellence, to be happy and contented, to be truly successful… pursue the calling!
